Observations
We, the pigeon keepers, want followers, not fans. That is, most of them want to be told congratulations,
"you are the best", no matter how good or bad their birds are. If you tell them the truth, you automatically become an enemy.
Every season has its own characteristics. You
can' t expect to watch young pigeons to spread and get into position during the summer the same way they do in winter when they are older and more mature.
If you try to fly your birds in the summer instead of being praised, you are accused by those who cannot even fly
"a feather" let along a real bird.
There are also some others, who call themselves great pigeon keepers, who take one of their birds to a third pigeon keeper, have him fly them and judge the best. All this for what?
So that they can boast about having the best pigeons and tell everyone they are the best trainers in the word. Now, what should we do about those? In my opinion, get a stick and teach them a lesson! (metaphorically speaking of course!)
On the one hand, there are those who fly 50 pigeons and don’t talk about it. On the other hand, there are those who can only 1 or 2 birds and suddenly become the experts who come and accuse you lately.
There is a recent slogan "Buy from the ground" (that is, without seeing the bird fly) and
"The good birds can only fly 100 meters".
Finally, I'd like to say that there are 3 categories of pigeon
keepers:
-
Those who just keep pigeons, but never fly them.
-
Those who can only fly them at 20 meters with the excuse of a bad tempered neighbor or a threatening hawk.
-
"The
flying" or "the fearless", who are afraid of nothing and no one.
Have you ever wondered which category you be long to?
